About the Ballina Martial Arts Club

Ballina Martial Arts Club was founded in September 2004 by Sensei Stephen Kelly. The club has been operating sucessfully since then from it's location in the Ballina Stephenites GAA Club. Students of the club have the opportunity to study several martial arts. Traditional Karate from the Shtio-Ryu Itosu-Kai style, Kobudo (Okinawan Weapons) from the Shtio-Ryu Itosu-Kai style and the Korean Sword art Headong Kumdo from the United World Headong Kumdo Federation.
